Six AppleTVs at one with HomePod

A few years ago I purchased two HomePods and set them up as paired speakers in mg media room. I have six AppleTVs (and six televisions) in that room. My intention was to be able

to switch the sound at any given moment to whichever AppleTV I wanted to. I spent quite a bit of time with Apple technical support before they concluded it couldn’t be done. Has they been any change in the iOS that makes that possible now?

I think the best way would be to use the control Centre on the Apple TV to airplay to the HomePods, it might not be an immediate connection as quick as you might like every time you switch. Can’t say as I’ve tried it though. I only have two Apple TV’s. I do have one spare HomePod I use on both occasionally - not at the same time.
