I have paired my Airpods with my iPhone 14 Pro and they are listed under "Bluetooth,” however they do not show as a device Find My iPhone. Because of this, I cannot use "Find my IPhone" to find my AirPods.

I have tried several times. My AirPods are connected to my iPhone. I can see them under Bluetooth and use them daily. However, when I try to add them to Find My, it just says searching for item. I am literally holding them next to the phone. I have even opened them and my phone recognizes them as they’ll appear on the screen as connected, but never appear as a
device in the Find My app. Just keeps doing “searching item,” but never finds them.

Have you set up your AirPods with find my?
, then tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen.I’ve been trying my iPhone, not my Mac.
Do you have another apple device that you can try this with, an iPhone or something? Then you might want to try that to rule out that your MacBook is involved
