Apple support phishing attempt?

I just received a text purporting to be from "support.apple.com/billing" titled APPLE APPROVAL NOTICE that says "We have noticed that your Apple iCloud id was recently used at \"APPLE STORE-CA\" $xxx.xx paid by Apple Pay Pre Authorization...." It claims to be suspicious about this and wants me to call +1877315**** to cancel this charge.... If it's not me talk to an apple rep, etc." I have never used any cloud to my knowledge and believe this to be a phishing attempt but wanted to be sure. Can anyone confirm my suspicions, please?
