How to disable Natural Eye Contact on FaceTime?

Hi I really hate the natural eye contact thing on FaceTime, it creeps me out. I have it turned off at all times and yet it is still on. I don’t know how, I thought maybe it’s because the other person on call has it activated, but when I asked them to turn it off I still had mine on. This is a constant problem for me, I truly despise this function and find it pointless. Every time I’m on FaceTime and see those creepy eyes appear on my face I make sure to go to settings and see if it’s on. ITS NOT, it’s always turned off WHY DOES IT STILL HAPPENING HELP ME PLEASE
