How to stop syncing settings between devices

I recently bought me a new iPhone and transferred data, settings etc to the new phone. However I still use my old phone and noticed that when for example I turn on “do not disturb” on one phone it automatically turns it on on the other phone as well. Is there a way to still use iCloud backup, photo sync etc on both devices but have them run on different settings?

Short answer is a YES. You mentioned that you want the Photos to sync between both devices that are yours. This also means that you will need to have both iPhones using the same Apple Account and therefore the same iCloud account. You are currently doing this.

You can setup the “Do Not Disturb” settings in a way where none of those setings affect the other iPhone. To achieve this, on both iPhones, open Settings ➡️ Focus ➡️ Share Across Devices: Set this switch to OFF.
