Backing Up Logic Files - the best way to sync to Cloud?
Hi! I have been using the Cloud storage service MEGA for 3 years now and it's been fine. Contrary to what folks say about zipping their Logic files before uploading, I've always just let them sync automatically through the MEGA Cloud automatic syncing service.
(That said, the Cloud is the _second_ backup I have of all my files. I also back all my Logic files up to an external hard drive.)
What I'm having trouble with now is the Cloud syncing program apparently having issues with all the small files in my Logic projects. (See screenshots.)
So I'm wondering -- have others experienced such things when doing synced back-ups of their Logic files?
I am not working with these projects on the Cloud at all. This is just purely for a backup. But from time to time, I will download a Logic file from the Cloud if I'm working on a different computer (so I do want there to be file integrity).
What _has_ been annoying about MEGA is that I never see the Logic file as a Logic file -- it's just a folder like any other folder. I'm thinking of switching over to iCloud storage so that I can more easily identify what's a Logic file. That's the nice thing about iCloud. (However, I've had problems in the past [over 3 years ago now] with Logic file integrity over iCloud too...and I've not had problems until now with MEGA.)
Anyway, I'm looking for others' thoughts about the best Cloud back-ups for Logic files. I will never zip each file before I upload it to the Cloud. That sounds like a huge time-suck. Like I said, I already back everything up to a hard drive.
Thank you for your help!!!
