Why does Telegram work differently for sharing links?

It’s the second day that I can’t share links in telegram using the sharing Apple menu. I can do it only manually copying and pasting. All others sharing options ( pdf , photos ) are working in telegram. In all the other apps as WhatsApp, messages, the sharing l menu works for any links. Can’t understand why and in a old XR I can share menu from the sharing menu as usual. Would love to receive help

both iPhones 13Max pro and the older XR agave the same IOS 18.1.1

Telegram hasn’t updated their app to be fully compliant with iOS 18 yet. They are releasing bug fixes every few days. Their last update was 11.5 and just 3 days ago. You might also want to raise your issue with the Telegram support team.

I fully agree and that is what I did after I found out that I wasn’t the only one with this issue in https://bugs.telegram.org/c/46106

That was done twice today but with no changes unfortunately…what buzzes me is that both my 13 Pro Max and the XR have the same IOS update. I wounded if I haven’t touched something without realizing it

Make sure you’re on the latest version and you can also try deleting the app and downloading a fresh copy from the Apple App Store. You’re welcome and I hope you have a great weekend!
