Cannot hear Audio Recoding in Playback

Hey so I am I record with my earphones for now (apple lightning ones) and I record with input monitoring, headset microphone selected as input, Stereo Output selected for output. I see it’s somehow recording the audio but no sound comes out as if on mute although the track isn’t in mute. I’m a bit lost on what to do now.

GarageBand recording audio cuts out above certain decibel When recording audio on Garageband, it doesn't record audio above a certain decibel.
