M4 Mac Mini support with Dell WD19TB Dock

I have a Dell WD19TB dock which connects two Gigabyte G24F Monitors via display port. I am currently using 2 monitors in extended mode on a lenovo laptop via a single thunderbolt cable. This works perfectly fine and both monitors run on 144Hz.

I want to know whether the M4 Mac mini will also work in extended mode with the thunderbolt cable from the dock connected to one of the thunderbolt ports on the mac mini?

You may not find anyone here with that exact setup, that can give you a definite yes or no answer.

From my limited experience with similar setups and time spend here helping other users. I will say no, that setup will not plug and play the same as it does with your windows laptop. The reason I say no, is because of the way that macOS detects and manages multiple displays.

For some Apple articles on the subject:

see > Connect a display to Mac mini - Apple Support
