I have a Mac Mini late 2012 i7 16MB RAM 1GB HD with Mojave that won't boot.

Mac Mini late 2012 i7, 16MB RAM, 1GB HD.

I've tried all booting methods and still end up not able to reboot.

i use QuickTime 7 pro for all my home movies and love its features.

All I want is a Mac Mini that runs QuickTime Pro 7!

Please help

On a 12+ year old computer that I'm assuming has the original HD installed it is likely that HD has failed. However, before coming to that conclusion please read and follow the steps in If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support

If you come to the conclusion the computer's HD has failed, the next logical step is to replace the computer and migrate your data from your Time Machine backup to the replacement Mac. I would recommend that you replace with the new M4based 2024 Mac mini with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. That computer will run rings around your old Mac mini. If you need help migrating please let us know and we can provide instructions, it's really simple to do assuming you have been using Time Machine to backup the old device.

An ethernet or wi-fi connection can be used to transfer and share data between two working Mac's.

Can I run an ethernet cable between the 2 computers? Wound I be able to transfer or install from my Mac Studio?

To re-install macOS on the 2012 Mac mini.....

you must use macOS Recovery Mode

see > How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support

or make and use a Bootable Installer on a flash drive.

I need to use My Mac Mini (late 2012 i7) with Mojave because all my home movies are edited in QuickTime 7 pro! and don;t no how to duplicate it's powerful editing tools for a price and ease of use. I have another Late 2012 i5 and a 2015 i7 but its the best for Mojave! My Mac Studio M1 is amazing but its advantage is 32G RAM and the latest macOS Sequoia 15.1.1.

I think Mojave was the last 32-bit system and when they went to 64-bit Catalina they dropped all apps that were 32-bit and the developers had too. Apple had never wanted to upgrade QuickTime 7 Pro to 64-bit. So those who still use QuickTime 7 pro Mojave is our only option.

Yes that is correct for QuickTime 7 Pro.

If you replace that Mac mini with a newer Mac mini, QuickTime Player is still in all of the later macOS versions.

If you need something different, then maybe try VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

For others, see > https://mac.eltima.com/quicktime-alternative-mac.html

If you need editing software, then iMovie, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro come to mind.
