iPhone 16 pro Backlight Bleed in Corners

It's very abnormal behavior considering the iPhone 16 pro doesn't even have a blacklight. Unlike the older phones that have a liquid crystal display with a backlight behind the LCD, the newer phones use an OLED display where the pixels are the light source themselves. So there can be no backlight bleedthrough.

Could it possibly be in the wallpaper you are using?

No I can see light around the edges of the screen the part of the glass where it meets the body outside the black border

Has anyone found a reason, an explanation or a fix to this issue? I bought two 16 pros in a week and both have the same problem. Is it the wallpaper or the colour of the phone? Mines were black. Not sure if I should buy a third one :)

Most retailers, including Apple, provide a 14 day return privilege. Just return it and purchase another one. Examine the screen before you leave the store.

Hey Im facing the exact same issue and I have it in black titanium colour. Please do update that what kind of response you got from apple. I have purchased my iPhone 16 pro a month ago

You have a one year Apple Warranty on your device. Return to the store you purchased it at and they can do diagnostics on your iPhone.

I’d have to see it to be certain, but remote diagnostics can confirm screen issues too.
