HomePods Issue at Work

The HomePods are fully functional and have been updated. I understand that they can perform without WIFI by using AirPlay. My school district's WIFI protocols do not allow peer-to-peer sharing. Why won't the HomePods work at school via AirPlay? The most success I have had so far, is to get the HomePods to play "all songs", but I did not select without that as a preference = I selected nothing - it plays those automatically. Unfortunately, I wish to play specific playlists from Music from my iPhone. Thank you!

Why are my HomePods not syncing with Apple Music? I’ve seen a lot of people having troubles with ios18 and Apple Music. No one talk about playing on different HomePods and controlling them with the Apple Music App. They don’t sync or if they do, one stops in a while. You cannot tell your room HomePod to follow the music to another HomePod as they seem can’t find each other. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
