Pomodoro shortcut appearing in menu bar automatically?

Hello. I feel like I might be losing my mind, but I'm also a little OCD and want to get to the bottom of this. I noticed a shortcut to start the Pomodoro timer in my menu bar after updating to the latest version of Sonoma today, 12/4/2024. I don't think it was there before, because I don't think I went through the steps to add it manually.

Has anyone else noticed something like this? Am I crazy?? It's been driving me nuts. Could it be automatic or due to syncing with my phone? I feel pretty silly and I suppose it's possible I did it but I really don't think so.

What are you calling the Pomodoro shortcut? The only thing I don’t recognize in your screenshot is an icon of an ear.

when you install an app, it can put things all over the place, especially if you enter your admin password when installing.

You do have the Shortcuts menu item in the status menu area. That means one or more of your shortcuts are set to be available in the finder. I suppose an app could install a shortcut and enable display in the finder.

Thanks for your reply. I realize my language was unclear. I'm attaching another screenshot for illustration. The ear icon is an accessibility option to play background noise that I set up. I just don't recall setting any shortcuts to be available in the finder, and I didn't install any other apps. Pomodoro is one of the shortcuts built into the Shortcuts app, but I don't use it and I don't remember seeing the Shortcut app icon in the status menu area there before. So I'm just curious because I like to know how things work and am a little neurotic. I recently programmed a handful of new shortcuts into my phone, but they weren't Pomodoro, so I don't know why that one would show up.
