To fix podcasts not syncing to apple watch

Can't find the original thread with my first question asking for help with this after trying all other suggestions. I did the following and it worked! I

deleted the podcast app off my iPhone,
re-downloaded it,
opened and played a podcast, and
it synced with my apple watch.

This was after turning both devices off, toggling the sync button in settings on and off, etc. Woohoo!

watchos 10 don't play downloaded podcast from watch I am unable to play downloaded podcasts with WatchOS 10. When I select a downloaded podcast on the watch, it automatically plays it from the iPhone. I have re-downloaded all the podcasts to make sure they are local on the watch. I have also rebooted the iPhone and the Watch. What else can I try?

Downloaded Podcasts No Longer Playing On Apple Watch Hi, I use my Apple Watch SE to listen to downloaded podcasts on my air pod pros. Haven't ever had an issue playing them until the most recent watch update. Now when I try to play a downloaded podcast: the episode will not play. I select it from the downloaded list, it opens for a fraction of a second (no sound), and then flips back to the list of available episodes. Note: If I play the downloaded podcast in range of my phone (from the downloaded podcasts on my iwatch) it plays no problem. So I'm guessing the issue is from when the phone is out of range...and that's when I need to listen to downloaded podcasts lol. If someone could please help I'd appreciate it. Thank you!
