Apple Music Replay Not Showing Accurate Results for Album Plays

Has anyone ever had an issue where Replay play counts don’t work for an album? For more context, I listened to Beyoncé’s “COWBOY CARTER” album for a total of 293 minutes in March (as it was released on the 29th) and then 1,536 minutes in April; where it ranked as my most-listened to album on my monthly recap. Ever since April of this year, despite listening to it continuously throughout the year, it never reappeared on my monthly recap despite most of the album tracks being within my Top 100 Replay of ‘24 playlist; with three songs in my Top 10.

All that said, my Top Album of 2024 shows I listened to it for 2,293 minutes, followed by my second-most streamed album at 1,148 minutes. This doesn’t make sense as I listened to “COWBOY CARTER” for 1,536 minutes just in April. Also, the album isn’t even in my Top 15 Top Albums list with the fifteenth album only receiving 295 minutes.

Did anyone else notice some inaccuracies in their minutes listened?

My #3 song is shown as being from some strange compilation I've never listened to. I play the album version, single version and various remixes and other compilations. How is all that play getting attributed to this compilation I never heard of rather than the primary album or single?

What it lists for my Top Albums By Month for May and November I probably listened to 3 hours tops, way less than others. What it lists for June wasn't what I listened to most in June but it was a new release that month. Maybe they give extra emphasis to music you're listening to for the first time?

My Top Songs by Month is blank for June.

Top Artist by Month for February was by no means the artist I listened to most that month, yet again it's someone I had downloaded several albums from and was listening to for the first time.

The album it says I listened to third most all year, 282 minutes, is unlikely I listened to it that much. It says I listened to my #5, #10, #12 and #14 Top Albums for between 188 and 112 minutes, and that may be true, but there are tons of albums I listened to WAY more than any of those, and indeed none of the tracks from those albums show up in the most-played Tracks of the Year list.

My #2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 songs are probably accurate but their albums don't appear when I know I listened to numerous other tracks on those albums extensively, totaling way more than the time mentioned above.

There ought to be a little toggle next to these things you could switch to help correct it, that you listened to an album much more, or much less.

For the second year in a row Replay says Taylor Swift is my #1 artist. Yet if I go through my top played artists month-to-month she's rarely in the top ten. I've played 476 minutes of Swift's albums in 2024. I've played 1,071 minutes of Allie X's albums in 2024. Somehow I don't think it matters how much Swift I play, she'll be my #1 for 2025 (whether I like it or not).

Huge inaccuracies and it bums me out. I love lists and stats and not having the accurate ones is a bummer.

As I look, there are so many examples of wrong information throughout the year.

For example, in November, my #1 song was supposedly played 43 times. It is a 4 minute, 36 second song; this would be 3 hours, 18 minutes. The album was also #1 yet clocked only 128 minutes, or 2 hours 8 minutes. I have not bothered totaling any other amounts because there are too many.

Is there any way this can be fixed? Since Apple has not addressed your posting I am guessing they do not care.
