Pairing a Yamaha Receiver to a Mac Mini
Will the YAMAHA R-S202BL pair with a Mac Mini?

You're welcome.
That's an interesting point, but it seems to me the process wouldn't be any different with a computer. Our Macs can connect to other Bluetooth speaker devices, so why not this Yamaha? It could be the marketing peeps were just more focused on the devices we carry with us.
I looked at the specs for that Yamaha receiver and nothing jumps out to suggest it won't.

rkaufmann87, My current receiver is connected to my mac mini, in my living room, and it powers speakers. I'm looking to upgrade, and I'm not interested in something like a soundbar. So now do I get an answer?
Thank you, that's what I was thinking. But it concerns me that Yamaha advertises that their receivers pair with phones and tablets, but neglect to mention actual computers. It's not a lot of money so I'll probably give it a try.

If the current MacMini is connected via Bluetooth then a new Mini should work as well. If the old Mini isn't connected via Bluetooth, then just try it on that.
Why would you want to do that, in other words what are you attempting to achieve?
