Hello all; I am trying to understand exactly how ACID files work in Logic Pro. Do they automatically transpose to the key of the project or must I transpose them manually? Thanks for any information to get me going in the right direction.
If you import them from the Logic's Loop Browser, then yes, they should conform. Because content stored there has the necessary metadata. I haven't heard of anyone using ACID files in ages, so I don't know if Logic still has support for ACID or not.
Thanks for that info, BenB. I am looking to create backing tracks for when I play the piano. I typically just have piano, bass, drums. I am looking to add some light strings, vocals, etc. Outside of what Apple provides in Logic Pro, do should I just be looking for anyone that offers WAV files and then transpose them to match my project?
