connection problems with home pod?

I love the sound these things put out. Now if they would work it would be great. After a couple of minutes one of them stops and I have to reset the speakers by going out and then back in and they are good for a little while then stop again. sometimes when I hit the space key on my keyboard that will stop all sound, but not always. Is there something I am missing or are these things the biggest piece of junk Apple has ever sold?
