Help me get back to green "external instrument" button & menu in Logic Pro?

Hello. I am new to Logic Pro. I was messing with the velocity processor on a track and now can't get back to the menu with the green 'external instrument' button (see attached screenshot for what I would LIKE to see!). Would someone be kind enough to guide me back to familiar territory? Thank you kindly.
