HomeKit cameras unreliable on Apple TV and iOS
I have a total of 6 HomeKit cameras from different manufacturers. It is always to see which cameras will be available on the Apple TV or Home app. If I check the manufacturer’s app, I can see that the cameras are online and streaming.
All firmware is up to date and I am running the latest versions of iOS and TvOS.
It is very frustrating. This is one of the main reasons I use HomeKit and it is less than a 50% chance that I will be able to see what I want.
I would buy cameras from a different manufacturer, but I’m not convinced that they wouldn’t have the same problem.
