Ear speaker stopped working after 18.1.1 update on iPhone

I have the exact same issue after the installation of the latest update!

Last night i woke up by my phone vibrating, it was the ios 18.11 update .

Right before i went to bed i spoke with my wife on the phone using the ear speaker.

When i woke up in the morning after the update i called my wife to tell her good morning . Ear speaker is not working.

I will try to connect to PC and downgrade the IOS . Anyhow if ear speaker is not working it means they broke it . There are too manny coincidences here.

Update: I was at the Apple Store for support and it turns out my ear speaker was actually physically broken. They ran a test and showed me the results. I had it replaced for 149€ :/ It seems afterall it was just a coincidence that this happend during the new update.

Even though after updating to ios 18.3 update the issue is still not solved the ear speaker is still not working even after the new bug fix and update if anyone has a solution rather than changing the part please do let us know

I have the exact same problem. I‘ve tried all suggested „fixes“ from several different discussions, nothing worked. When enabling hearing aid compability i can hear sound from the ear speaker again, but only very quiet. Happend since the last update. It seems to be a software problem where the sound is too quiet somehow. Hope this gets fixed soon.

After i messed up with settings , ear speaker came back to life. Sadly i ran out of batter few days later and iphone shut down . After turning on the phone ear speaker was gone back again.
