Why does dictation misinterpret the name 'Ann' as 'and'

Dictation in Apple devices always types the word ‘and’ when I say the proper name ‘Ann’. This is infuriating.

How can I permanently fix it?

IOS & MacOS dictation is bad and sometimes unusable Even latest devices like iPhone 15 Pro Max & MacBook Pro M1 have issues with the dictation. And I'm using dictation for different languages but primary with English. It often confuses words, sometimes completely writes unusable sentences and sometimes cannot even recognize some words. I have both iOS and android devices. And unfortunately, for now, Google dictation works much more smoothly and more precise. There are a lot of improvements needs to be done. I'm really hoping that Apple would improve its dictation in the future.

Dictation problems Since the latest install, (or at least I believe it‘s since the latest 116.1.2, as they did two in quick succession) …. dictation has been a nightmare! First, it keeps putting punctuation in, but it’s in the wrong places, so I have to backtrack to keep undoing the capital letters and taking out the .’s and commas and secondly it’s just not as accurate as it used to be (way way, worse), anybody found a fix for this?!

Will Apple ever fix the random punctuation in dictation issue? Since At least iOS 16, apple dictation adds random punctuation, such as commas, capitalization in the middle of a sentence, and other annoying punctuation. I constantly have to correct AutoCorrect. What the heck is going on? This issue is at least two years old and Apple doesn’t do anything to fix it.
