How to remove indents in Pages?

I've spent hours trying to remove an indent. There are NO tab stops visible on the ruler. The paragraph above on the same page is flush left with the margin. When I "Show Invisibles" there's no indication of any indentations. In Style, there's no indents, in Layout there's no indents, in Document nothing unusual.

It should not be difficult to figure out why a block of text is indented.

The one thing you have not mentioned is also in the Style panel. If Bullets & Lists are set to None, and below that, the selector shows No Bullets, any non-zero indent setting will apply to the entire paragraph as though it were a list item. Show invisible is not a useful detection for this list indent setting.
