What kind of card reader exactly?

SD card? CF card? SIM card? access card? PCMCIA card? Credit card? There's many types of cards that can be read on a computer.

Any USB card reader you find should though.

What exactly are you looking for, and what does the Mac mini have to do with it?

If you are talking about the types of memory cards used in digital cameras …

There are lots of USB card readers of all types on the market. Some plug in via USB-A, others via USB-C, but it is easy to convert between USB-A (USB) and USB-C (USB) in either direction, should you need to do so.

A Mac mini that is new enough to run Sequoia would have Thunderbolt 3, 4, or 5 ports and thus would also be able to use very-high-end Thunderbolt 3 card readers. Those are much less common than the USB ones and would be mostly of interest to professional photographers with high-end mirrorless or DSR cameras who routinely shot many hundreds or thousands of photos, and had invested in special high-speed memory cards.
