How can I disable the 'Updates Available' notification that is now appearing from system preferences since Sequoia? This was removed after High Sierra and it's pretty disappointing to have to ignore this daily now. Even more frustrating is that it comes back if I just drag it off the screen??
The notification in question:

The Update Sequoia 15.1.1 has already been downloaded - full stop
From my experience - once it has been downloaded, there is no stopping it form attempting it to Install
Am confident, that even if you attempt to shutdown the computer, then too it may or may not attempt the installation
AFAIK - it is asking the User ( you ) to either Update, implied ( Now ), or later tonight
It does offer, both options

The current Sequoia its version 15.1.1
I ( me ) don't want to Update ( now ) or later tonight. I'm aware the most current version of macOS is 15.1.1 but I want to choose when I update on my machine. Also, this notification comes up for apps like FCP or SF Symbols, not just macOS updates so it's been fairly frequent (and annoying).
You can try for the future >> System Setting >> General >> Software Update >> Automatic Updates
Turn OFF those setting you do Not What
Disable 'Updates Available' Notification
