how do i delete an app permanently?

sometimes i open up an app to play video games or to watch some youtube, but i find myself uncontrollably playing and then i delete it to prevent myself from playing game anymore but my weird body decides to download it again. Usually when i get a new app it will ask me for touch id or to face id but when i re download a cloud shaped thing shows instead of the word “get”. i could ask for a parent or guardian to give me permission.but when its time for me to re download an app it doesnt show it and doesnt even ask me to touch id or to face id it just downloads it. im trying to have the touch id and ask for parents approval can someone answer me?

Apps are forever associated with the AppleID from which they were purchased - this applying equally for Apps that are "free" to download. TouchID and parental approval only control the initial purchase process; once purchased, Apps associated with your AppleID can be re-installed without further authorisation.

Your parents may find this information to be helpful with setting-up an AppleID for a minor - and in considering appropriate controls.

ScreenTime Restrictions might be helpful - limiting time that specific Apps can be accessed - or in preventing you from installing any Apps on your iPad. This measure will, of course, require that a ScreenTime Passcode is set by your Parents that you do not know.

  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Adding Apps - set to Don't Allow
  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps - set to Don't Allow
  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > In-app Purchases - set to Don't Allow
