Garageband Volume issue- funky

IPAD After recording on a track, bouncing back to the track view will often reset the volume of the track down to a low volume. Occasionally, when going to a new track to record, it will not have volume (yes monitor is selected) until i just touch the out-slider button. It is a little difficult to explain, but no bells and whistles, basic tracks, not automation at all...I've gone through the normal troubleshooting, including many resets, updates, uninstall/reinstall, removing of plugins, but still this issue persists. I see a lot of volume issues posted, but nothing quite like this. the only thing i havent done is wipe out the ipad itself.
