Wrong HDR setting in Mac mini settings

While adjusting the display, in the Mac mini settings, I selected the wrong HDR option. Now my monitor shows “no signal” when I try to use my Mac mini.  How can I correct this if I can’t get to the settings?

Mac mini, macOS 15.1

I tried chatting with AppleCare through text. We tried rebooting the Mac disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable, trying different HDMI ports. None of it worked. I have a PS5 gaming console hooked up to the monitor as well. It works fine.

I did try hooking the Mac up to an LG 42” flatscreen TV via HDMI. It worked…except for the resolution being off. I tried setting it to the proper resolution for my ASUS monitor. The resolution was not available probably because it was reading the stats for the LG not the ASUS.

Black Friday is this week…maybe I should just get the new 4k monitor over been wanting. 🤷‍♂️
