After I installed macOS Sequoia 15.1.1, I looked for an important file I had Tagged and found it was no longer Tagged. I looked for the file in my iCloud folders, and was not able to find it. I checked the Trash to no avail. I checked my Time Machine which is housed in a 3 TB external hard drive, and it wasn't there either. Has anyone had problems with missing files after downloading macOS Sequoia 15.1.1?

Since you asked: No, I have not had any instance where installing the macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 update deleted any files on my Macs.
Where was file located if doesn't reveal any personal information?? If it was in your home folder I really think it very unlikely that installing the 15.1.1 update would touch any of that. Anything odd/unusual/unexpected happen during the update to 15.1.1???
I just updated to 15.1.1 a couple of days ago and have not noticed anything missing so far.
