Airdrop and Universal Clipboard Issues | Macbook Pro (2015) & iPhone 16 Pro

Hi! Few days ago I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro and I am having trouble when using Airdrop and the Universal Clipboard with my Macbook pro (2015). Until few days ago, with my previous smartphone (iPhone 11 Pro), it has been always working.


To sum up:

  • If I try to pass a file (or copy-paste a text) from Macbook to iPhone, it works.
  • If i try to do the same, but from iPhone to Macbook it does not work. For the file, it seems to see the device, but it keeps me "waiting" forever.


iPhone 16 Pro has iOS version 18.1.1, while Macbook Pro has macOC Monterey 12.7.6 version.


Can anyone help me?
