Macbook Air, M3, Sequoia 15.1.1 won't connect to my external SSD after updating the computer's software today. I've tried options like rebooting, checking Finder settings. The external SSD is also not shown in the Disk utility App. Any suggestions.

I've solved my problem! Both the Mac and the External SSD have USB-C sockets. I simply tried turning the cable connection around and now it works OK! Strange? 😏
