Does anyone know what might be the issue I'm observing here is? I've verified that it's not a software bug so it must be external however there are no obvious signs of dropping damage nor are any of the pixels "broken" as you might see in a more standard LCD breakage (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and LCD breakage can happen in this way).
