Does anyone use third-party software to hide folders you don't want others to see on a Macbook Air? Please help, thank you.
I am trying to hide a large folder so that it cannot be seen in Finder if anyone is looking at the computer. It is a primary folder I use, so it needs to be easily accessible to me.

Each user on the machine should have their own user account. Anything in an individual's home directory is visible only to that user... No need to go to extremes to 'hide a folder'. Just don't let anyone else log in with your user account.
