need help setting up HomeKit

I have been trying and failing to use HomeKit to set up a smart home. Some lights work well in automation, turning on when triggered by a motion sensor and then turning off after a set period of time. But then, for some reason, the automation starts failing.

I'm looking for someone who can set this up for me in my house. Willing to pay of course.
