Updating macOS Monterey 12.7.6 to macOS 13 or Higher

Hi Apple Community,

I’m currently using macOS Monterey 12.7.6 on my Mac, and I’d like to update to macOS 13 (Ventura) or higher. Can someone advise if this is possible?

Additionally, if an update is available, could you guide me through the process or let me know any requirements I should

Hi, I have Monterey 12.7.6 on a MacBook Pro 2019 and want to upgrade the macOS but am hesitant about upgrading more than one release or level at a time.

Hoe do I find the individual MacOs for Ventura then Sonoma then Sequoia if it will run on my MacBook. Thanks, David

For a 2017 MacBook Air, Monterey is the end of the line. If the application requires Ventura or later, and you can't get an earlier version that is compatible with Monterey, your choices are to:

  • Get a Mac that can run something later than Monterey,
  • Switch to another application that does similar things (if one compatible with Monterey is available), or
  • Go without
