Warnings of low iPhone battery on macOS Sequoia when connected via hotspot

Warnings (in form of notifications) of low iPhone battery continuously pop-up on macOS Sequoia 15.1.1. whenever I am connected to the internet via hotspot.

Somehow, the battery status has been misread by my computer since Monterrey, however, since Sequoia I started getting notifications asking me if I would like to disconnect from my iPhone. This message keeps poping-up even if the hotspot is active via the usb cable connected to my MacBook Pro... while the iPhone is being charged by the computer itself.

I have found no way to stop these notifications in System Settings. It is distracting and annoying.

I don't know if I should file a bug report...

Any help is appreciated!

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.1

Still no fix as of nearly April 2025. Unacceptable.

My 5GUW connection on my iPhone 16 Pro is being read as 1x, which is the amongst the lowest possible data signals (No service, SOS only, 1x, 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G, 5G+, 5G UC, 5G UW etc.), I believe.

Moreover, the "low battery" notifications also remain frequent and spontaneous.

Apple, please distribute a fix through a software update soon. Seriously.

So this bug has gone away for me as of Sequoia 15.3.2., however another stupid one has appeared: my screen starts slightly flashing after opening up the lid... as if there is some kind of physical connection issue with the lid – but the screen is working perfectly!

Please Apple, do not ever make a new OS until the current one has every single feature working flawlessly.
