USB & SDCard Ports Not Functioning Properly on MacBook Pro M2 Max

This has been an issue since I got this Mac (MBP M2 Max, 96 GB).

Every single time I have to walk away from my laptop to accommodate a family member or just do something else, I get back and this laptop has an error warning telling me that a USB device or SDCard should always be ejected before removal.

The Problem?:

I have not removed any USB device!!!

So, whether I shut the lid and walk away or it just snoozes to the lock screen, it won't matter. If I have multiple devices, 1 is certainly going to go away. And when I remove it from the MBP and insert it again, that device will not always reappear until I have shut down or reboot my Mac.

On top of this, some of these devices are becoming slower and slower as I use them.

So, what I have here is a very expensive lemon that creates even more problems than I can tackle myself.

I have been struggling with this for 2 years, now. I have found out that if I get something that is super fast, like the Samsung T9 portable SSD external drive, or the superfast Sabrent SDCard, THEN, and only then will this very stupid M2 Max actually acknowledge those devices every time.

Unfortunately, I come from a 2011 iMac and a 2015 MacBook Pro, and this M2 not only has great trouble reading the data on any of those USB devices, but it blatantly has corrupted several of my USB sticks and I have lost months of work.

Is there a fix for this?
