CarPlay missing icons since iOS 18.0

I have found a similar issue since updating to iOS 18.

CarPlay enables when connected to USB but the MESSAGING and the CONTACTS icons are missing from the CarPlay Display. The features covered work fine using BLUETOOTH, yet! When I

try to use them via CARPLAY, Siri suggests I add them, “Yet theses features are standard on all iPhones, since CarPlay was instigated”. I have looked at the settings on my phone “messages, contacts and sync ford, using all the parameters required! unconnected, reconnected rebooted both my iPhone and restarted the car encase it was an electric issue and even update my car sync software but I still can’t use the features or see them via my display. So very frustrating and not a functional feature that APPLE offer since the update.
