Apple Account locked - don't know why and can't get help
I use my Apple Account only for iTunes for Windows purchases. I don't have an Apple device or use any other Apple services. My last iTunes purchase was in May 2024. I tried to login to iTunes recently and my account is locked.
I tried to use this. iforgot.apple.com/unlock The message is as follows.
This account is locked.
This account is locked and can't be used.
I asked Apple for help. The reply is as follows.
Your Apple Account Request
Dear (name removed),
We’ve reviewed your request, and access to your account (email removed) has been denied.

I called support and was told many possible reasons my account is locked, that nothing could be done, and my only option would be to create a new account. I can't access any of my prior purchases, only what I have saved locally.
I don't know what happened to my account and want it back. Without my account I couldn't even ask for online support or create a post here.
