Water spillage on MacBook Air: Should I get it checked?

Hi everyone,

I accidentally spilled water on my MacBook Air. Surprisingly, it still works perfectly fine at the moment. However, I’m concerned there might be internal damage that isn’t visible right away. Should I still take it to an Apple Store or a technician for a check-up, or is it safe to continue using it as it is?
