Disable side button (double click)

I am A bilateral amputee. I cannot use this feature. I have no privacy someone has to help me with all transactions Apple Store downloads. I would like to turn this off completely. Zane

The double click is required to activate Apple Pay and authorize the transaction. Apple Pay cannot be used without authorization, per bank’s security requirements.


You may be able to remove the double click and use Face ID for both activating and authorization.
