The iMessage cannot be sent to a specific person using Watch.

When I use my Apple Watch to reply to iMessages, I can only send SMS. However, on my iPhone, I can use iMessage normally. Then, I tried sending messages to other contacts from the watch, and iMessage works fine. It seems that I am unable to send iMessages to this specific friend using the watch. How can I resolve this?
