Glitches with transfer from mid-2010 Macbook Pro with Sierra to new M4 Macbook Pro with Sequoia

I have messages popping up that won't respond to my attempts to throw them away. This has become a futile activity as I continue to click "Move to Trash" only to have them pop up again, in sequence over and over. It is frustrating.


I believe the Nielsen KBM was an extension on Brave, but in the Brave app I have on the new system it doesn't show. I have no idea what the MeterStatus bit goes with or does on my system.


How do I get rid of these? Please help.
