how to create slideshow without music

Is there any way to create a slideshow without dumb music being automatically added? I can’t seem to find any options to totally remove the lame music only an option to mute it. That isn’t a solution as I am trying to export the file to another app and add the music I wish to. Why is Apple auto

adding music to my stuff? Should be an option, not a default, come on now….
