There is not enough extra media beyond clip edges to create the transition.
shows up no matter what I change on the clip to have more media available. FCP 11 is not allowing me to create any transition

I guess I figure it out.... Settings were to create transitions 0.1 long. That did something with FCP timeline, 24fps, I changed to .5 length and now is working.
