Are you asking about macOS 15.1.1 download...(?)

Try again your download from A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

Your computer may be running low on hard drive space. Try rebooting into safe mode to see if you can log in.

Then if you can, copy any folders that have a lot of data, like pictures, downloads, documents to an external usb drive. After you copy them, and you verify they are on the external drive, delete them from the local drive to free

up space. Then....while still logged into safe mode, try the update again. If all this works, You'll need to make sure you allow enough free space for your system to use.

It is optimal to always keep at least 200 - 300 GB of the Total Drive Capacities to be kept as Empty Space, to allow macOS to do its general housekeeping tasks. Allowing the computer to drop below these levels will eventually cause reduced and/or poor system performance. Even possible data corruption and loss.

Always use Disk Utility to observe total free space of your drives. Never depend on “Available Space” reported by System Settings > General > Storage. It is not dependable or accurate. It’s just a quick and general reference of total system data allocation.
