I have AirPods Pro generation 2. I can’t get past the hearing test no matter which tips I change to I keep getting the orange icon showing readjust or change tips. I’ve done both multiple times Any suggestions?

I can't either. I bought a second set of buds to go with my existing AirPods Pro generation 2, and the case does not accept them either. So all the upgrades that 18.1 promised--hearing test, lower level hearing aid, etc.--are unavailable. I have spent hours on the phone with service people and earlier this week an hour with a genius bar employee on Boylston St Boston, Apple Store, who sold me the new buds for $190, but I still haven't gotten a pair that work.
