disconnecting to work computer

2020 I started working from home. I had a 2016 MBP. Connecting to work with Teamviewer, worked fine.


2021 I got a M1 Mac mini. My dropped connection to work happened from time to time. 2024 summer and fall, my M1 mac mini started to reboot itself and connecting to work happened more often.


Nov 2024 I got a M4 Mac mini. I am still having disconnect problems. The work IT guy has the PC on Windows 11 connected to LAN with a cable using TCP.


Any idea what is going on. Now it seems when I end a project at work, then come back to do another project, its disconnected and I have to type in my work PW, then open the 4 apps I use for every project, than mute audio. Caffeine runs at startup. but I still have to reconnect. We now use GlobalProtect to connect, and Dropbox to pass files from work to home.
