Changing account pw fails weirdly when using iPad

I wanted to make my account PW more complex/safe. I have 4 macs, an iPhone 15 and the 11" M4 iPad. All units updated to newest OS. And working perfectly.

What happened was (as I recall it afterwards) that the change would not be accepted... so I got the option to prove who I was by entering my phonenumber. (the screen showed me the last 2 digits) but when I entered the 8 digits they were show as: (12) 345 678, (not my number), and this was of course NOT recognized by Apple. (I live in Denmark, and phone numbers arre not including parantheses )

Next option was to confirm my payment method.

Also here the last, and correct, 4 digits in card was shown.

BUT after I had entered all the data there was show a kind of scroll window to "roll" to the correct expiriation date for card... and this window was NOT responding to any input from me, on the iPad!!!

Very peculiar and Non-Apple.

So I checked on the macs, and there, after some hours, I could log in using the new changed PW, and as far as I can see everything is fine and in sync on my account.

BUT on the iPad i get this reminder, and it leads to nowhere. Klicking on 'Fortsæt' (continue) gives a shortly rotating 'wheel' and then NOTHING

For me this could be due to a bug in iPados, who knows? Well maybe someone on the forum, or at Apple.
