Continuity sends blank screenshots to iPad
I used to be able to mark up screenshots from my MacBook with my iPad and Apple Pencil with continuity, now it does not work. All I see is a blank screen on my iPad.
This is the screenshot from my MacBook..... you can see it clearly says "Disconnect from ____ iPad".... normally the image would be pulled up as is on my iPad and I would be able to add notes/draw whatever is in the screenshot preview... but instead
This is what I get on my iPad. Just a blank screen that says "DONE" in the corner. I need an immediate fix as I used to use this for school a lot and it was very helpful with editing on the go so I can add to my notebook.. Now it's useless.
I have looked through MULTIPLE forums and YouTube videos regarding this issue and HAVE TRIED EVERY STEP, INCLUDING THE ONES LISTED ON THE APPLE WEBSITE REGARDING CONTINUITY.. CONTINUITY CAMERA... MACBOOK/IPAD ETC... I have reset all of my settings on both devices, rebooted both devices numerous times, disconnected/reconnected both devices to the same wifi/hotspot a number of times, and nothing has worked. This issue did not happen until the recent update to iPad OS 18 and Mac Sequoia 15.
THE DEVICES ARE COMPATIBLE. THEY ARE UPDATED. BOTH 2021 MODELS.. IPAD PRO & MACBOOK PRO. PLEASE HELP.
